2. General information
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide this website and our services. This policy explains which data is processed when you visit the website and use the contact form, on which legal basis this happens, and which rights you have.
3. Hosting (Vercel)
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you access the website, Vercel automatically processes technical access data (server logs), in particular IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type and operating system. This processing is technically necessary for operating, delivering and securing the website (legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Server logs are stored for a limited period only and then deleted automatically; they are not merged with other data. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel. Where data is transferred to the USA, the transfer is based on the adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, additionally, on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. Contact form and email contact
When you use our contact form, we process the data you provide: name, email address, organisation/club, message, language, and optionally a phone number and one file attachment (max. 10 MB). Processing serves solely to handle and answer your inquiry (legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the inquiry is aimed at entering into a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). To manage inquiries we use Notion, a service of Notion Labs, Inc., 2300 Harrison Street, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA, as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR). Your inquiry data is stored there. Transfers to the USA are based on the adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, additionally, on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Your inquiry data is deleted once your request has been fully handled and no statutory retention obligations apply. If you contact us by email, the above applies accordingly.
5. Local storage, no cookies
This website uses no cookies and no advertising networks. Your browser's localStorage only holds two functional preferences: your language choice (arche-lang) and your light/dark display choice (arche-theme). This storage is strictly necessary for the function you requested and requires no consent; no evaluation or disclosure takes place. Fonts and all other resources are served locally from our hosting.
5a. Cookieless audience measurement (Plausible)
To improve our website we measure its usage with Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia — processing within the EU). Plausible works without cookies and without cross-device tracking; IP addresses are not stored, and only aggregated statistics (e.g. page views, country of origin, device type) are produced. Individual visitors cannot be identified. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in statistical analysis and improvement of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by "https://" and the lock symbol in your browser bar.
